I've always liked mums and they make me think of one of my aunts. She had them planted all the way around her house. I've tried more than once to grow them but my brown thumb has no success with much of anything.
These were at the local park.
Those are beautiful! I've always loved them too. I bought a couple of small plants a couple of weeks ago. Tiny yellow flowers should be opening later on this week. I have the plants in a rustic twig basket on the front porch.
Mums are my very favorite...of course Fall is my favorite season so maybe that's why I like Mums! I don't have a lot of luck growing them either...but I'll be buying more and trying again this year!

i have done the same, killed a bunch of these mums, i buy bring home they die and die quickly.
