Why do I keep doing something that I never like the outcome of? Am I just a glutton for punishment or what?
Even though I never seem to like how my cards come out I keep trying to make them.
Here's the latest.
These were done last week while I was on vacation. I suppose they're ok but they just seem to be lacking something. I keep saying I'm just not going to make any more but I know I'll try again.
The good news is it's Friday and my weekend will be underway just as soon as 2:30 rolls around.
Woof! Woof! WHAT? they area absolutely lovely cards. Where you blogging at work. Happy Friday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteWell I think the cards are lovely Ann...and after all it's what the person receiving them thinks of the cards...I think it's lovely to have a personal touch to them!!
ReplyDeleteWhat's not to love about your pretty cards, Ann?!
ReplyDeleteI love the middle one :) Great job!
That's the down side to being a crafter, nothing ever comes out as out heads tell us it will and we a always dissatisfied.
ReplyDeleteYour cards look great to me but I know exactly what you mean, I'm the same

Your cards are very nice, Ann. They are even primitive. You are doing so much better at this than I have been. I've done nothing yet, and you know that next August will roll around quickly. My sticks are still on my deck, I have gathered many acorns though. I need a week off just to jump start myself into crafting. Have a good weekend! BTW, I have a paper for you about Christmas in the Woods. I got two of them on Monday again. It's in the car for you.
ReplyDeleteYour cards looks nice to me, Ann =) But I know what you mean, we are our worst critics. I am the same with my art sometimes...
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend
your cards are lovely, really. But I understand what you meant. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou know just what I'm gonna say...so, here it is: Yes, I DO like your cards. They have such a wonderful, country feel to them. You should be proud.
ReplyDeleteAnn your cards are so beautiful how could you not make them!! They go so well with the quilled 3 d flowers you once showed in your earlier post
ReplyDeleteHey, those are great! Keep on making them! And three cheers for the weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are really cute! Just keep making them. We are all more critical of our work than anyone else. I always see the flaws in my work but no one else seems to see them. love the cards.
ReplyDeleteand i don't understand why you don't like them. they look great to me. i think we are all more critical of our own work, no matter what it is, than we are of others. maybe it is because you can see a flaw we dont see. like on The Voice I hear a singer that sounds good to me, but he judges say she has pitch problems. since i am not a crafter what ever you do is amazing to me
ReplyDeleteThey are nice and the "For you" card is VERY nice but they are kinda brown....
ReplyDeleteI think they are adorable. I don't know what's wrong with them at all. Perhaps you're being to hard on yourself. Just saying.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day and weekend. My best to Duke. :)
Always look nice to me. Have a card party and everyone brings their best idea and enough goodies for each to make one like it is fun.
ReplyDeleteI love your cards...especially the sunflower cards. The red, yellow and green against the kraft paper color is perfect. I love the simplicity of them.
ReplyDeleteI would buy these! I really like the one on the bottom. I like buying cards that leave space to personalize the cards and yours do. :) These are fabulous, just fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI like them! And don't know what more it would need....
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
hughugs
They are adorable. I have no idea what you are talking about. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou are way too hard on yourself because your cards are lovely! And you're an hour into the weekend!
ReplyDeleteThey are sweet and simple! I tend to go kind of nuts with my card making because I never feel like they're "done."
ReplyDeleteThey are SO neat! Well done, my friend!
ReplyDeletePractice makes perfect and these are perfectly lovely cards - good job!
ReplyDeletexo Catherine
I like em! My fave is the one with the hearts on the twine :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the one with the heart. You may have a little perfectionism going on...that is why all your stuff looks so darn good.
ReplyDeleteOkay now I really loved those. I am going to Pin them.
ReplyDeleteI really like the bottom one.
ReplyDeleteCards are the hardest - at least for me. I've never been happy with mine either. Yours on the other hand? I love them! Wish you could see them through my eyes. xxo
