Last minute gift

Now that Christmas is over I can show you a last minute gift I threw together for each of my kids. A year or so ago I saw this idea and thought it was pretty cute but never got around to doing it.

For each I bought:
a can of pork and beans
a can of rootbeer
and assorted candy



I enclosed this tag


I found these cute little boxes of m&m's with nice on one side and naughty on the other


Of course I couldn't help having the naughty side showing.  Silly gift but it got at least a slight chuckle. I think I may have even been called weird.

    This is just the most fun! It seems in any big family there is always one person who does a wacky gift or something, and this really makes wonderful memories through the years, long after we have forgotten that scarf we opened.

    i would say weird and wonderful at the same time and a gift i would love. i like everything in the basket. great idea...fun and useful.this is a gift my hubby would like, except i would put reese's peanut butter cups. he loves pork and beans and if i don't want to cook is happy with just eating beans and crackers...

    I'd say 'COOL!' Fun idea for kids' gifts and even my hubby deserves one as he LOVES A&W!

    That is fun - and silly. Why do we think only little kids like goofy gifts - Big kids do goofy too!
