Can you guess?

Any ideas what this might have started out as?

Well, it all started with a little sunshine coming through the blinds on my sliding glass door

I cropped the picture, duplicated, rotated, changed blending modes and came up with the first picture.
Why yes, I did have some time to kill over the weekend. How did you know?

  17. Your imagination never ceases to amaze me. Good thing Duke isn't around or your time to kill just may get him into something you work on. [kidding] I like the effect you made by rotating and using the effect.
