June does rather inspire the poets. This is the only one I know by heart:
"The longest day is in June, they say, The shortest in December. They did not come to me that way: The shortest I remember -- You came a day with me to stay And filled my heart with laughter; The longest day -- you were away -- The very next day after." (author: George Birdseye)
I love those gazing balls (and now I know what they are called after reading the other comments).
Hi Ann, Great gazing ball and quote... We can ALL enjoy June and Summer (and all seasons) --no matter who we are or how much we have or know. It's there for all of us to ENJOY.
The images in balls and other odd shapes make me wonder which shapes are "real." Maybe that is real and we see everything distorted without the ball. Nic epic
I love gazing balls, but our weather is generally too crazy to have them. Lovely image and quote Ann.

ReplyDeleteGreat effects! I don't quite understand the quote but I think it's too early in the morning for my brain to function.
