I threw a little party last night. I was the only one who came and I didn't even bring myself a gift. I went to bed and didn't bother scheduling a post for this morning. So today I woke up, told myself the party is over and to suck it up buttercup.
In other news. I've been using Feedly as a replacement for google reader. I don't love it and I don't hate it, it's ok I guess. I've heard a lot of bloggers going to Bloglovin though so I thought I would try it out.
Follow my blog with Bloglovin
I'm in total denial over Google Reader going away. I refuse to deal with it. Lol.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a good idea to have a party for one. We signed up for that Bloglovin. Hope it works for you. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI've installed bloglovin on my blog but to be honest I don't know what its all about, I'm not that computer literate. lol
ReplyDeleteLove the buttercups, has given me an idea for a block.

You are funny ANN. Mom is not liking feedly she changed to an apple app reader Vienna (not the sausage). Happy Sunday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeletethat photos is extraordinary and exquisite.. love it and glad you got up and posted it. i signed up for bloglovin and got so frustrated with it i unsigned up... i love feedly
ReplyDeleteI like your kind of parties.
ReplyDeleteI'm using Feedly and I like it better than Bloglovin. I guess I'm just used to Feedly.
Have a terrific day. My best to Duke. ☺
You have to take time for yourself, glad you enjoyed your party! Hugs, antonella :-)
ReplyDeleteI use Netvibes - I like the options and I created a home page with access to my email and weather etc. I also installed Bloglovin on my blog...I imported the blogs from my Google Reader - so instantly I was 'following' the whole list...Both of these apps are just back-up sorts of things for - I mostly read off of my blog's blogroll...
ReplyDeletePretty picture...!
You didn't give yourself a gift, but you gave us one! BEAUTIFUL Buttercups! Yes, they are in bloom now!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Bloglovin so join me there too Ann. It is so much easier then Feedly. I've tried them both.
ReplyDeleteIt will be a big change.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Sandie
Lovely little friend
ReplyDeleteAren't parties of ONE just wonderful???? You can do anything you like ---and come and go as you choose.. AND--you don't have to talk to anyone if you don't want to... Best kind of party!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI use Feedly and LOVE it.. It's so much better (I think) than the reader was... I have mine catagorized from oldest to newest and just have the titles listed.. It's easy to click on them --and just go from one to the next...
Hugs,
Betsy
I'm following you on Bloglovin, I would hate that you and Duke have an adventure that I didn't know about!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! Parties of one, I have those myself.
ReplyDeleteI've tried bloglovin but for some reason it won't verify my blog. I think I'll have to work with it more and figure out what is wrong.
I usually just go through my blogroll on Blogger, so I never really used Google Reader anyway. I signed up for Bloglovin, so I guess I will try that.
ReplyDeleteDo I need it? I dunno. I guess I will find out.
Love these buttercups. The bloglovin is cool because you can put blogs in groups (like challenges, or favorites, etc). And they send a recap to your email which is cool. But I'm happy about change LOL. Hope today is a good day for you! :) Thanks for stopping by! :)
ReplyDeleteNot much to clean up after a small party. That's always good. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm using bloglovin. So far, so good.
xo Catherine
I am of the same opinion about Feedly. Thank for suggesting Bloglovin. By the way, did you cry at your party (it's my party, and I'll cry if I want to...)?
ReplyDeleteI hope I do not lose anyone...or can not comment. I have been doing everything the old fashioned way off of my blog list.
ReplyDeleteI've been using Bloglovin' for several weeks now and really like it. It's helping me keep track of what I've read and what I haven't. I never liked the design of Google Reader.
ReplyDeleteStunning photo of the buttercups too!
ReplyDeleteI'm using feedly. It does the job. Maybe I'll look at Bloglovin
