Annie in wood

I've had a wood project in the works for far too long. It's been put on the back burner and I just can't seem to get myself to finish it.

She's not looking so good right now and I'm beginning to wonder if she'll ever get any further than this

  1. The thing with you is, you will get the perfect inspiration, but in your own time. You just have to wait till it hits you. Don't try to force it till you get the mojo!

  5. this means the project is not 'speaking' to you... when they speak you work... is she a pilgrim? if so, finish her and maybe she will sell in august to Tgiving or let her lie until you are inspired...

  6. I think she has lots of potential Ann and suddenly you will have the inclination, inspiration and will to finish her. Up until that point I think you should let her be otherwise you just wouldn't be happy with her!!

  10. Was this going to be just decorative or something else...like if the feets were further apart a place to hang hats or dish cloths or keys and if you used chalkboard paint the body could be a place to jot notes...'course I have no idea how big it is...

  17. I am sure you will get the inspiration one day to finish her.I am the same with my art sometimes, I draw them up but then they can lay there for some time before I finish painting them.
