Up a tree

I can't believe it's Monday already. Where did the weekend go. I tried to make it last by setting a very slow pace.
Today I continue with some more pictures from that place I drove by. This is what made me spot this place the first time.

The sky was a bit on the gray side that day so I did add just a touch of color to these pictures. It could be the angle that I got these pictures from but they don't look quite as impressive as the bears in yesterdays post but still cool.

And of course the eagle that also resides in this tree

  8. I love stuff like this. We get to see things like this across the road. I keep telling Om that he can consider the eagles a gift from me. We can't afford one, but he can look at whatever one is on display over there.

  17. More gorgeous wood carvings. Do they sell them there????

I'm a little shaken tonight. We had a near-miss-head-on car accident this afternoon when a car was coming straight toward us in OUR lane. We swerved and went into the ditch. Luckily, we are fine and no damage to the car --other than being dirty. BUT--we were just lucky that the ditch wasn't steep…. SCARY!

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  18. Evening Ann, Connie from Crafty Home Cottage sent me over! She wanted me to see the chainsaw art on your blog. Those bears are adorable and the Eagle as well. I just posted yesterday, the street I am moving to this Spring/Summer has several LARGE chainsaw art in several of the neighbors yards. We have a talented artist who lives on the street and he has created things for the homeowners when they lost a tree. They are beautiful! It's a small street and has created a unique quaintness. Please feel free to take a look! I love Connie dearly...she is special to me! I am your newest follower~~~Blessings~~~Roxie
