This is on the top of a box that I have sitting in my craft room. It's there to remind me. This weekend, believe me, I will love each moment because Monday comes around far too quick.
I keep reminding myself that life is not a tryout but I still find myself grumping and moaning over the most trivial things, its not easy to be carefree is it? But hope you get a lot done and are happy this weekend. Briony x
I am adverse to loving everything in sight including all the moments - but that is a very pretty box top - I remember working - often 7 days a week - I miss some of it but not all of it. Enjoy as many moments as is feasible.
Hi Ann, that reminds me of my husband, His favorite quote is "Savor the Moment". I have heard him say it so many times that it has stuck in my brain. Like when I'm standing in the slowest line at the grocery store and I'm worried that my ice cream is melting . . .I just think how sweet it is that I'm not standing in line for a chemo treatment instead . . . instantly the slow line seem like a true blessing :) This has helped me so many times that I can not count :) I have an A type personality and sometimes have to be reminded to slow down and enjoy.
