A few weeks ago, at the craft show I was attracted to a little log cabin that was next to the building we were in. There's something about a log cabin that just pulls me in. I didn't get a whole lot of great pictures of it but there is one.
I had thought these were red shutters but I guess I was wrong. Either way it caught my eye
Log cabins always catch my eye too Ann! There's just something about them that is appealing!
ReplyDeleteI can't say I would want to chop all that wood. There is a real nice one near me, all new, that is a real charmer.
ReplyDeleteVery artfully composed Ann.
ReplyDeleteReally cool log cabin with very striking red window?
ReplyDeleteLove them as we don't have any over here.
i am with you on log cabins, i love them all, big and small... looks like maybe shutters they have boarded up?
ReplyDeleteThat is a cute little cabin. I think one of the reasons we can be drawn to them is because of what they represent. To me they remind me of a simpler time, a time more pure in many ways than today. Sometimes I wish we could go back in time. But I'd miss my digital camera, photoshop, and my smartphone. I don't think this reply made much sense. But you know what I mean.
ReplyDeleteI love log cabins! Someday I want to live in one just like that!
ReplyDeleteA really nice picture! In a way, very artistic.
ReplyDeleteOh, log cabins, what is it about them that calls to us? We have had plans drawn up for our dream log home .... someday we hope. Great photo Ann.
ReplyDeleteSomething so cozy , rustic and even romantic about a log cabin !
ReplyDeleteI know! There must be something in the collective American psyche that is drawn to our rustic roots. Nice pic.
ReplyDeleteWow, that would be a really cool design for a doghouse for Gibbs. Maybe Gibbs should leave Wade some "presents" to get him going on the project?
