After Oh Christmas tree it should be how lovely are your branches. When you've got a fake tree and you look real close though it's hard to use the word lovely to describe it.
At least at night it doesn't look so bad.
The tree is up but there aren't any ornaments on it yet. So far no major problems with Gibbs. We'll see how it goes once it's decorated.
This is our first year with an artificial tree...not sure how I feel about it yet. It is still in the box! At least you got yours out! Glad you haven't had any trouble with Gibbs!
I should have put a few things up when it was warm. I have a blue spruce in my front yard.I told my daughter I was going to hang a tree upside down inside because of space, and have been in the doghouse ever since.
Just don't look at it up close! Do you have plastic ornaments for the bottom of the tree? It might be worth getting some cheapy plastic ones for the bottom so you don't stress out as Gibbs is learning about the tree. I have a whole box for when we have a new kitten in the house.
Fake trees are so much better in the long run. Not so much mess and they can look great. Hope Gibbs doesn't decide to do away with the tree. Good luck.
uh oh... waiting to see the reaction to the ornaments... you are so right, a fake tree is pretty at night when lit, but in sunshine it is NOT...but your close up made yours beautiful...
I never had a dog bother the tree, cats are another story and why we don't do trees any more. (One Christmas we had a 6 month old puppy who, while trained to go outside, remembered his paper training and with all the wrapped presents under the tree - well you know where this story is going...)
I have a fake tree that I just love. Nothing special but it works for us. Raider doesn't bother the tree but I have a couple toddlers this year just at the age where it will be a total fascination.
Fake trees in Oregon seems so wrong since it's a major industry here but not having to deal with needles sounds fabulous! How exciting to celebrate Gibbs' first Christmas!
Show us the whole tree!! What does Gibbs think of it?
ReplyDeleteYay! It'll be Gibbs' first Christmas :) We don't have a tree at all, because our cats would climb it!!

ReplyDeleteI love the ease of an artificial tree and they look just fine with lights and ornaments. Good luck with Gibbs!

ReplyDeleteWe don't have many decorations left. Done with all that work. You're right though, some fake trees are nicer looking than others.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. My best to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
It looks good in the close up and twinkly light always help.
ReplyDeleteMy tree is fake too but the decorations help.
Have fun decorating!
