For years I used to decorate the entire house for every holiday there is. These days not so much. I did manage to take the snowmen off of the dining room table and replace them with some Easter things.
These are the only Easter decorations you'll see in my house this year. Less to put away works for me.
Even a little decoration is good. I sometimes think of decorating for the holidays, but I'm the only one who would see it. Maybe I should anyway.
ReplyDeleteThe only holiday I ever decorate for is Christmas although I did do some Halloween parties when the kids were young and decorating for those was fun...and incredibly messy!! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute bunny! I don't have much Easter decorations out this year...just my handmade Easter chicks and a little basket with a floral arrangement :)
ReplyDeleteI love what you have put out, Ann.
ReplyDeleteI love the pink egg with the bunny on top and can we have a back off a little ways so i can see it better? i have not one decoration of any kind of than Christmas in my house and in 70 years never have. but my mother decorated the whole house for every single holiday and season.
ReplyDeleteI have used candy this year to decorate and he kept it small. I have rabbit does in the barn all getting ready to have easter bunnies.
ReplyDeleteI don't holiday decorate because in my world there are no holidays - I don't decorate at all come to think of it...
ReplyDeleteI used to put three trees up for Christmas and then have tons of other stuff all over the house. All that stuff is gone. We didn't decorate for Christmas last year for the first time in decades. I loved it.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day Ann. Scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
Sweet vignette! I did the same as you and decorated for every season. Now, I like to think a little goes a long way. We were in the garage the other day where the Easter decorations are stored. I thought about climbing the ladder to pull them down and said, "Nah, not this year." I have a small centerpiece on the kitchen table and it works.
ReplyDeleteDid Gibbs try out for the Cadbury Easter Bunny position this year?
ReplyDeleteLOL! I haven't even put an yo out this year...they are staying right where they are tucked away...I am tired!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteI've always decorated for Easter since I'm a spring baby. I also make up baskets for hubby and son. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL, very cute Ann! I put a few things out but not many because after Christmas the last thing I want to do is undecorate ... again! Happy Easter to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE them!! I am SO late in commenting, but have been gone all day. I only decorate the kitchen and living room.
ReplyDeleteVery cute. I still tend to decorate for most holidays. Sometimes it takes me a month or so to put it all away again though depending on the holiday.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been decorating very much for Easter as we usually aren't around. I do make baskets for Chloe and LadyBug!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! It's been a long time since I've decorated for Easter. If Paige was coming here we'd definitely decorate, but we are all meeting at my sister's house this year.
ReplyDeleteHi Ann, Sweet little decorations and I'm with you - less is better. I wish you a very happy Easter.
ReplyDeleteIt took Easter to get me to rid the house of snowmen too!
ReplyDeleteI like the wire bunny, but I used to have pjs the material of the second one!
