Indecision

Believe it or not I've already chosen my craft project for the month of March. I've decided to do some mixed media pieces on wood. It's sort of like my index cards just creating on wood instead of paper.
I purchased some small wood shapes and I already had some wood plaques that I'll be using as well.

Now comes the part about indecision. This is a 3" square wood shape. In addition to the painting and assorted doo dada I glued on I'll also be adding a word. I'm going to use one word inspirations for these. I have the word Focus printed out and ready to attach to this one.

The problem I'm having is I can't decide if I want to put a magnet on the back of it or if I want to drill a hole at the top and make it an ornament. Of course I probably should have drilled the hole before I did all the painting but I don't always do things the easy way

If it was you, which would you prefer?

  1. You have a craft project for April then, too!! If you choose magnets this month, in April, make ornaments!!!

  2. Think a magnet might be more usable. Not sure what to do as a ornament unless it was more like a plaque.

  3. Since that one is almost finished, attach a magnet and next try one pre-drilled and that way you can have both! They will be great either way!

  5. We like the idea of a magnet. That is a neat wooden square. We like the way you did that.

  6. Magnets would be good, but you could also fold a 1/8 inch ribbon and make a hanger. Attach it to the back with a small square of fabric and glue. That's if ya don't want a hole in your work!

  9. I would choose magnet as well. I would (ha, ha ha - like I do anything creative and crafty) would have the decoration/design somehow relate to the 'word'.

  12. Magnet or a small hole in the back to hang on a nail or something. It'd look great on a gallery wall or in an arrangement on the wall.

  13. Very pretty Ann! I'd say an ornament only because so many people have stainless steel fridges these days and the darn magnets won't stick!
