The big reveal

First of all, Happy March. Did it come in like a lamb or lion where you are?

Now, yesterday I showed you this...

I started by taking strips of book page and gluing them on the top edge of the pringles can then I lined the inside of the can with some scrapbook paper.

Next I took apart those clothespins and glued the outside flat part against the outside of the can. I wrapped some twine around the can in all of the grooves in the clothespins and at the very top. Lastly I made a lid.

Now my pringles can is a barrel

The lid was a round wood disc. I glued on a round piece of scrapbook paper to match the lining then glued on a wood knob. To keep the lid from sliding off, on the inside I glued on a canning jar ring. The ring fit perfectly inside the pringles can.

Total was 6 completed barrels.  I might have made more but again it took me half the month to decide what I was going to make

I didn't like the blue paper on the lids as much as I did the other color but it did look nice inside the can

  4. Okay, those barrels are pretty cool, but I still think much larger containers of Pringles are cooler--especially when they are full!
