Today I have a couple pictures I took while we were out on Monday. I have the original cell phone shot and an edited version
I can't remember if I mentioned that the miniature golf place we went to was right on the lake. Just down the road from it was the public dock or Dobbins Landing.
After golf we took a walk down to the end of the dock and back. Along the way I spotted this seagull and took his picture. He was much more accommodating than the one who was trying to eat his lunch and was under the impression that I wanted to steal his piece of bread.
The picture wasn't bad except I didn't like how it was centered in the shot. So following the rule of thirds I cropped and then added a little HDR effect.
Just before going out on to the dock there is a restaurant called The Wharf. They have a beautiful outside eating area that is covered in vines and hanging flower baskets. There a rather large seating area in the front of the restaurant and additional seating down the side. I wish I would have taken a picture of the front because my description just doesn't convey how really beautiful it is
I cropped, lightened and did a couple other things which I can't remember
From these seats in the picture you can enjoy your lunch or a beverage and look out at Presque Isle Bay.
It looks like a wonderful place. The seagulls obviously like it. I like the seagull on the pole pictures.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! That place is overflowing with flowers. How charming!
ReplyDeleteFun edits - love those flowers!

ReplyDeleteI like that cropped gull, moving him to the side was a great idea.. you know how much i like to edit so this was a fun post for me. if you go to maps and find the street, you can snip a photo of the front to show us. google maps shows things really well when i forget a photo. i did that with the front of cracker barrel
