Last night for lack of something better to do, I played with the camera. I was trying to get a good picture of a candle flame. It wasn't working out the way I wanted.
Either the flash went off and it looked like this
Or no flash and the flame just looked like a bright blurry blob.
I played with different settings including the manual setting. Still haven't got everything figured out yet but that's ok. More excuse to keep playing.
Lots of different ways to snap it! I turn the flash off and do macro.
ReplyDeleteI like your pretty St. Patrick's decor. Keep playing and be sure to share the results here.
ReplyDeleteThat first picture may look better than you think. When I first saw it I thought the flame was moving.
ReplyDeleteI think the first shot is pretty good! Have fun!
ReplyDelete....I'm right there with you, I love 'playing' with the camera features. Besides, it fun!!
ReplyDeleteActually, I like 'em both...they're neat photos.
I like it with the flash. But, that's just me.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to play with the camera and see what works. I do like the first picture.Looks good to us.

I did that for hours. the short lens will work, just play a few feet away and use zoom on it to...

I like the second one best because it's glowing and soft looking. :) when I've taken pics of the fire in the fp I put it on manual and step back about four feet. :) I've got so much on my camera to learn. lol

Marie
