Iris

Yesterday after work I noticed that the Japanese Iris were blooming so I took some pictures for you.

    Japanese Iris?? Never heard of this, how interesting! I love how the buds start out deep red. They are gorgeous!

    I am with Ginny on those beautiful buds, from burgundy to purple so much beauty, so little time to take photos of them... I love that they are all growing together, the green is as pretty as the flower

    I love those dainty blooms on these iris'! And of course I love purple - my fav color. I think just about everything planted in my flower bed is purple! Beautiful shot.
