so thoughtful

A couple weeks ago a regular customer asked me if I used handmade crocheted dish cloths. I said I had made them in the past. Then she said that she had been crocheting dish cloths to keep herself busy over the winter and wanted to know if I would use the  if she brought me some.
Tuesday she brought several in for me and the deli manager.

  2. These took so much loving work, I would not use them on dirty dishes. They would be good under coffee mugs!

  4. i call these pot holders, but now that i have read this, they might wash dishes well. never thought about it. it is good she is giving them away, i can guess they pile up fast. i think the square one you made for me, would be better for washing. i would try it but i use it for keeping my tablet from scratching the counter. it is perfect for that. i think of you each time i see it and each time i dry my hands on the towel hangingon theoven

  6. Personally, I don't care for the handmade dishcloths, they are so thick. I like an old washcloth, actually.

  7. That was very kind of her to do. Although I would feel funny about using something handmade on the dishes etc. They are very pretty and do look like they would make great pot holders.
