Alone vs lonely
I used to be frequently lonely but rarely alone. Now, I'm mostly just alone and sometimes lonely. I'm the type of person who can be in a large group of people and feel like I'm invisible. I guess I'm sort of a lone wolf.
Well except for this guy.

I am so sorry. It must be scary at times to live alone. You need several big hugs, wish I was closer. This is one of your cutest shots of Gibbs.

I don't mind being alone and it's always good to get home where it's quiet and peaceful, no matter where I've just been. Grocery or any other shopping venture wears me out and it always feels great pulling into the driveway.
I am lonely because I miss my my dear husband. Being with church family is a blessing and hugs are given & received all around. We need hugs. My dear feline will come lay on my stomach/chest when I lay down on the bed. Or she'll get up on my chest when I'm sitting in my chair. She is a comfort to me and I am so thankful for her.

Deletethat is not weird, I think of that all the time, people living alone really need someone that contacts them daily, even if by phone or text.. I know what you mean, alone and lonely are completely different.. Gibbs is so cute. I love your big windows looking out. I love light and bright. is that a room or a porch
ReplyDeleteI think they would miss you at work and come looking for you, so you would be best to die the night before a work day. But...if you are dead...do you really care? What about your kids? Do they check in with you? We have a regular call day for our son, but I'm not sure he would worry if we didn't pick up. Yeah...good question.

DeleteI am sorry, it is hard to get used to not having that someone around. I learned it earlier on when the kids were younger. At first it was hard to adjust to not having someone home but then I got used to it..loved it and my daughter and grandson moved in with me...and that was a long 6 yr ordeal. I like it being just me and my furbabes.

DeleteWe would know something was wrong! And I think they'd miss you at work too! I don't mind being alone but when I lived alone for the first time it was strange - I missed just having someone there so I totally understand.
