Now what do I call it.
For the past 12 years, the room in the basement has been referred to as the man cave. What do I call it now? I've been asked what I'm going to do with it. Am I going to keep it as it is, or change the decor? Honestly, I rather like the woodsy, wildlife theme going on so I have no intentions of changing that. I do kind of hope to one day get rid of the futon that is there. It's usable but not the most comfortable thing in the world. It will do for now. There was also another couch there but it had to go. I had it hauled away. Then the chairs that you see against the back wall, one had been in this room and one had been in the living room. I moved the one from the living room down there and it worked for me.
Gibbs is good with it this way too.

It's your 'she-den'. I like the woodsy look also. As time goes on, you'll keep adding your own personal touches, making it more your own space. Enjoy the process.

ReplyDeleteThanks. Wade did all the work on the room. There was some finishing stuff that he never got around to doing but it'll be ok without it. Gibbs will always have a bed there for sure

DeleteI love the woodsy look... That wood ceiling is very popular these days... I love it.. I wouldn't change much --at least not now. You can add some things gradually and make it YOUR room --yours and Gibbs!!!!!! As far as a name, the first thing I thought of when seeing the room was the peace I'd feel when being in that room. SO--I'd call it "PEACE"
