day off

You would think after working all those days in a row I would have wanted to lay around doing nothing yesterday. Truth is I had a full day. Something to do in the morning and a trip over the state line to go to a craft show in the afternoon. I decided that doing something fun was more necessary than laying around doing nothing.

No pictures of the craft show but it was in a park right on lake Erie and I did take a few cell phone pictures of the lake

The temperature was way cooler and it was pretty breezy on the lake but there were a couple kids out there who didn't see  to mind a bit.

  1. I think it is wonderful you got out and away from the house, and found a beautiful beach to enjoy and the craft show... I can't believe you took no photos at the craft fair. are you sure you went? where is the proof??? did you get lots of good ideas???

  2. Oddly enough, often when you think you should be tired and want a an aimless day, you find that you have the physical and mental energy to want to be out and about. Sometimes expending energy leads to increased energy. Especially when you are doing something you enjoy.

    1. Kind of goes along with the whole "a body in motion stays in motion" theory.

  3. Did you buy anything at the craft show? Or just get overwhelmed by the beautiful scenery?

  4. The good thing about a day off is you can do whatever you want. That's why I like retirement so much.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥

  7. How was the craft show? Did you find something to buy or just a walk around? Glad we didn’t do that one as I remember that year we did it that it rained and was a muddy mess! Did u find out the cost for the two days, or any info? Sorry, I didn’t want to go in afternoon, but I’m a morning only person to craft shows.
