Yesterday was a total lazy day. Aside from doing the dishes and getting dressed, I did nothing that required any energy whatsoever. I read, I napped, I found another free tv/movie app on the firestick and watched old episodes of Highway to Heaven.
For some reason, after I got up, drank my coffee and got dressed, the things I thought I would do just didn't sound all that appealing anymore.
I get a daily email from Cutting for Business. It's full of free cut files for my cricut as well as information to help if you are actually selling your things. (I can't seem to make them, let alone sell them anymore) Any way the email I got the other day made me think of Grace when I saw this picture.
Ann, it is going to take some time to get up to speed again.Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lovely day to me. I like those days when you can move slowly. I think sometimes we just need to slow down and give ourselves a break--mentally and physically.
ReplyDeleteI laughed at the mug!
Yep, slow lazy days are goid for you
DeleteOf all the things to be (in)famous for! LOL It's not pumpkin spice I object to - it is perfect in pumpkin pie, where it belongs. It does not belong in coffee, cereal, room spray, body lotion, candy bars and everything and anything they can add it to - Hoo-boy.
ReplyDeleteI almost added in that you liked it in pumpkin pie but not everything else but then I didn't. It's funny the things I see that instantly make me think of one blog pal or another
DeleteYup - and can you see a frog anything without thinking of Lin?
DeleteNope, sure can't. Frogs always make me think of Lin
DeleteSometimes you just don't want to do much on your day off. Nothing wrong with that.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous workday. Big hug to you and tons of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
That's pretty much been how my days off have been going. I'm totally ok with it too...lol
DeleteOh no...I love pumpkin spice, but not in my coffee!!!! I am home now from an extended stay at my brothers and my house is a wreck! I have cleaning to do, things to put away, grass to cut and Halloween stuff to put out outside and in,....yet I am on the deck, coffee done and I am still surfing blogsville and fbing! Haha...I need to get the rear to moving, later.
ReplyDeleteI like pumpkin spice but there are some things that just don't need to have that flavor added to
DeleteI'm the opposite from your friend, Grace. I LOVE Pumpkin Spice..... It's all in how you make it that is important... My favorites with added Pumpkin Spice: Coffee, Coffee Mate, FUDGE........ Yum to all three!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
