To do selective color you need two copies of the photo. You turn the top one to black and white and then erase the parts of it that you want to be in color.
Nice work, Ann! You always inspire me with your photo editing. I actually channeled you when I went to remove a lamp pole in our family photo for the Christmas cards. It worked!
I like your edit the best!! We have only today gotten lots of color!
ReplyDeleteThanks. It really shows off the color of that leaf
DeleteThat is really neat! How did you do that?

DeleteA good one. I would pick it up and make it into a bookmark if we have it here. So pretty
ReplyDeleteNever would have thought of using the leaf as a bookmark.
DeleteI love selective color on abut anything and the pop of orange is perfect...
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I love the edited photo too. Makes me want to go out with my camera today! Hugs!

ReplyDeleteLOL, so that's why I was feeling out of it. I was busy helping you with your photo.
DeleteI love the selective color edit, I have yet to master it.
ReplyDeleteI like them too. Some are harder than others to do. It's easiest on pictures that don't require a steady hand and a small eraser.
DeleteI love those pictures where only one thing in the photo has color and the rest is black and white. Wonderful job, Ann! Love, Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks. One of my more favorite edits to do
DeleteNice play with the colors! Very well done!
ReplyDeleteThey always draw my attention
ReplyDeleteAnd how could they not. Thanks for the pictures you sent
DeleteI'm glad you didn't leaf it alone. Great job.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and weekend, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥
I've always had a problem with leafing things alone...lol
DeleteOh I love how you did whatever you did to that second photo! I don't have a way to do cool things like that and if I did, I don't know if I could!
ReplyDeleteThanks. This requires two copies of a picture, one in black and white and erasing parts of the black and white to reveal parts of the color copy below
DeleteBeautifully edited.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Fall leaves are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the second leaf picture! So cool black and white with that pop of color!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! You're so good at editing! :)
