So I won't show up empty handed I decided to make her a birthday card. Not that she will really care or know the difference but you know. The theme for her birthday is a tea party. I had some cut and print files that matched that theme.

And I also cut the teacups for the inside. Now I just need to write something on the other side
Have a nice time at the party, I'm sure the card will be a keeper.

DeleteThat's a wonderful gesture! My parents did the same for our kids & by the time they were adults they both had some nice savings. Irene made a down payment on a house & Erik got his Master's degree in political science.

DeleteI like your idea of a savings account. My in-laws did that for my kids and the money was nice when they went to college. They would send a new pair of pajamas for the kids too...which was nice. Kids always need pajamas.

DeleteOh that is pretty and fun. (I have the same problem with my 18 month old granddaughter - she has all the material things she needs to I sent her a musical card and for a day or two it was her favorite thing!)
