I recently attempted to copy one and it didn't turn out to bad. I wanted to show you the one original one that I was copying but couldn't find a picture of it. I thought I saved it but I apparently saved a different one instead. Any way, this one is similar to what I was copying.
I liked the way they cut out the butterflies and used a patterned paper behind the cutout. This is the one that I made.
Cool! :)
ReplyDeletethanks
DeletePretty colors!! I too like the textured paper.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I had a hard time deciding on what paper to put underneath
DeleteI love the colors on the one you made. my color all over my house... keep playing.. I do the same thing, find something I like in images and then create mine the same but different. not cards of course, but things for my blog... we are the ColorCutPaste twins, the same but different
ReplyDeleteOh wow! We both have butterfly cards today! Great minds...and all that! heehee! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI think the concept is great but the embossed paper on the first kind of elevates the whole concept.
ReplyDeleteGrace!! I just asked about you on my blog, wondering what happened to you. I was worried because your blog is gone. :-( I wish you would have left it up for folks to read past posts anyway. But I understand. I kept a blog for many years and it was during the time my Mom was sick and she was living with us. One day, on a whim, I deleted it and now I'm so sorry I did. I would have loved to go back now & read the "history" that was contained in my posts. Ah well... it is what it is. I'm glad to see you're alright.
DeleteI do believe you are right. And now that you have pointed that out to me I'll have to make another one with the embossing. I'm pretty sure I even have that embossing folder.
DeleteI love it. It cards are always so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThose are wonderful! I so wish I were creative! Annster's Domain
