Happy St. Patricks Day

I'm a wee bit Irish so I thought I had better do a post for St. Patrick's Day.

Why should you never iron a 4 leaf clover?
Because you don't want to press your luck.

Going back in time a bit I bring you Duke and the green St. Patrick's Day carnation.

For those of you who are newer here, Duke was my wonderful westie that I had before Gibbs.

How are awesome blog pals like all of you like a 4 leaf clover?
They are hard to find and lucky to have.

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!

  1. I remember Duke so well, and still have his fridge magnet. The picture is just adorable, and so sweet. I have such fond memories of his posts. I love your Irish Hat, so clever! Will you be wearing green today?

    1. The hats I made last year, I think and took them to work with candy in them. Duke was pretty special. I sure miss that dog

  2. Happy St, Patrick's Day! I don't think I have anything green to wear, so fortunately no one around here pinches people who don't wear it on March 17. :D

  3. I am a tad Irish and a tad Scott... I remember our precious Duke, he was so photogenic and always let you take his photos. unlike Gibbs and Big Boy who don't know what cooperate with the camera lens means. Hope you don't get pinched at work today..

    1. And may the wind at your back not be from the corned beef and cabbage you had for dinner :)

  6. Thank you and Happy St. Patrick's Day to you too, Ann. Your Duke is adorable. My one brother (RIP) always had Westies and always purchased two brothers at a time, from the same litter. He never owned more than two at one time but when the 2nd of the two would pass away, he'd always get another set of two. They were darling and so is Duke. Love, Andrea xoxo

    1. If the woman I got Duke from had still been breeding Westies I would have gotten another one from her. He was the best dog I ever had.
