Simple pleasures

Today I have something I made quite a while back but never showed here on the blog for some reason. When it comes to simple pleasures I'm perfectly happy crafting with recycled items and dollar tree supplies.

This was a bottle that I saved from the trash at work and I decoupaged on a napkin that I had bought at Dollar tree. I added jute twine around the top of the bottle.

I found this coursage in some of Wade's stuff. I think it might have been from his daughter's wedding so I stuck it in the vase. And this is how I enjoy simple pleasures.

  1. Unbelievable. It looks beautiful and priceless. You got the napkin on so straight and without one wrinkle, I don't know how you managed it. It looks like it was bought at a fancy boutique.

  4. If one is going to have decorative things about, just to have decorative things about, then I think this is quite lovely...

  6. Absolutely positively WONDERFUL, Ann! I love using recycling things in my crafts too. Besides being cheaper, it feels like I'm saving the planet in some small tiny miniscule way. Love, Andrea xoxo

  9. Beautiful! It's wonderful how you used recycled, inexpensive, and sentimental items to make a brand new work of art. I have napkin packs waiting for when I give decoupage another try... past experiments didn't quite thrill me.
