I told you the other day that I'm working on making my Christmas cards for this year. I have six done so far. These are a pretty simple card, nothing overly fancy. They are all the same with one small exception. The words Merry Christmas was stamped in green on half of the cards and red on the other half.
I have enough of the patterned paper to do six more just like these. Then I may do some additional ones that require a little more effort, maybe a pop up type card.
So pretty! I love the holly.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI'm impressed!
ReplyDeleteThanks. Like I said nothing fancy but I think they'll work
DeleteI noticed that the tins of sweet were stacked up in the supermarket the other day, I am not a fan of Christmas and it really annoys me. I know, I'm a grumpy old woman, lol
ReplyDeleteBriony
I hate how the stores rush the holidays. By the time Christmas is here I'm sick of seeing it. They're completely taken away from the true meaning.
DeleteGreat job. Of course, you KNOW I love your handi-work. Always.
ReplyDeleteWell thank you
DeleteNice - I'll look forward to receiving mine!
ReplyDeleteThanks. You may get this one or you may get something that requires a little more effort. We'll see how ambitious I get.
DeleteI really like these...have you ever did the thing where you use fancy paper napkins and cling wrap to make cards?
ReplyDeleteI think I lean slightly to the red writing. both are pretty... nothing like getting prepared.. and having fun doing it. next week you can do VALENTINES. lol
ReplyDeleteOh my you are rocking right along. I really need to consider getting up off my back side and start on mine...difference, I paint on and have prints made! Those are great.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are always fantastic. If I could paint like you do I might give that a try.
DeleteSo cute! darn it....now I have the pressure to start mine!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I think you have an excuse not to do yours just yet. One handed card making can be tricky...lol
DeleteVery pretty. You are so crafty.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and weekend, Ann. Big hug to you and extra treats for Gibbs. ♥♥♥
thank you
DeleteThey are awesome! Do you have anything printed on the inside or do you hand write something.
ReplyDeleteI'm very impressed, you're way ahead of the season so you shouldn't have any trouble getting them done and your friends and family will treasure your cards.
ReplyDeleteYou're such a sweetie!
Hi Ann oh wow I love both these cards, you are very clever my friend well done xx
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteVery, very cute...:)jp
ReplyDeleteThese cards are pretty and cheerful and you are smart to be starting now.
ReplyDeleteThanks. If I didn't start now they would never be done in time
Deletenow when you send out your cards this year, everyone will know you've been creative and not just lounging around doin' nothin'
ReplyDeleteWell I have been lounging around doing nothing but at least the cards will help hide that fact...lol
DeleteNICE!! So much better than store bought!
ReplyDeleteThanks. The ones in the stores can get pretty expensive
