Changing things up

The cooler mornings and evenings must have me in the mood for fall. I decided to dig out some of my fall decorations yesterday and change things up a bit.

I've had this wreath for quite a while. I can't even remember when or where I got it.


I took down a picture on the wall and replaced it with the stick wreath I made several years ago. I replaced a picture frame with the charger plate I made recently and swapped the black bowl I had there for a leaf shaped dish

This shelf only had a wicker basket with some fake ivy.

This is now on my kitchen counter.

    I love it ALL! But my favorite is the gorgeous bucket of sunflowers!!

      That's one of my favorites too. I found that bucket in a grocery store a few years ago and fell in love with it

    Hey there, Linda Chapman Jr... ha ha… your home is ready for fall and looking good to me... my favorite vignette is the one with the new charger, under the stick wreathe. really like that one. and before we can blink you will be putting out snowmen

    Oh I remember the days of changing things out for the seasons....sort of gotten away from that. I made sure that I decorated for Halloween outside and in though, but last yr when I took it all down I gave it to my daughter who has recently realized that side of herself!! I realized that with this chronic illness and pain trying to keep up with all that stuff was harder then I needed. Putting it out I would over look the pain and issues but then it would take so much more out of me to get it all put up again. I love what you applied to the home in the name of fall. I LOVE fall. Great job.

      I'm on the ball with it this year. THe last few years I haven't been into it much. I know what you mean about packing it all back up. That's the worst

    Today was super cool and I thought about taking my stuff out too but did laundry and vacuumed instead since the Pres isn't around. The decorations look GREAT!...:)jp

      I think I would rather be going into spring than into fall. Only because winter comes right after fall and I hate winter
