Last week I saw a woman walking around near the doctor's office with a costume head like that. I don't know if she was headed somewhere for costume purposes or if she was just wandering around. I thought nothing of it until a few days later.
It makes my blood boil when they start so early with Christmas. I remember when I was at home (years ago, lol) it was just the fortnight before that things got going. Briony x
I really hate how early they put the stuff out. By the time the actual holiday gets here I'm tired of seeing it all. When I was growing up you never saw Christmas stuff in the stores until the day after Thanksgiving
you are so becoming as a cat.. ha ha… love it. Ginny was right and so is that quote from FB.....unless of course you are ME! look Friends, no Halloween, no turkey and no tree, remember my TREE last year? think Charley Brown. last year was my first year of my life I did not put up a tree...
Thanksgiving is not a prominent festive event here in New Zealand...I don't know if Christmas has quite arrived at the retail stores; but this morning I was quite confused because apparently I slept in to 7.45am to discover a few hours later that jumping out of bed (Sunday) was all wrong as the clocks sprung forward around 2am and it was really only 6.45am I woke up!!
a % of people want longer light evenings...for whatever one does during that time frame, I think having a bbq on your deck is one such reason... I kind of like the extra time, because if I'm out somewhere - I can delay getting home before true darkness...but my head/body/mind get all out of kilter in the first few weeks!
Ha Ha Ha Ha!!! I was right, told you so!!
ReplyDeleteYes, you were right and thank you for the idea

ReplyDeleteIt's hard to tell what people are up to these days. I've seen some people do some pretty strange things
DeleteLol you crack me up,I can see you had so much fun with your friend xx
ReplyDeleteAlways happy to pass around some laughter.
DeleteGinny was right....it DOES make a great post. Now, where did I store my Easter basket?
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I should probably find my Easter basket too and a few fire crackers

ReplyDeleteOh, that is good...
ReplyDeleteBut what you failed to mention is you could have started this in early AUGUST if not July....haha
ReplyDeleteVery true in which case I would also need some fireworks.
DeleteWe definitely don't need Thanksgiving or Christmas out yet!!! Love your costume.

ReplyDeleteOh I hate that when that happens. I wish they would just stop with the time change.

ReplyDeleteI'm in the % that gets up early and goes to bed early. It's hard to go to bed when it's still light outside.
DeleteI love that saying! The mask is cute but looks super hot! :) Sorry I haven't been around - was on vacation and took a little break from everything.
ReplyDeleteA vacation is way better than reading blogs. Hope you had a great time
