It's a wrap

Monday I decided it was time to start wrapping Christmas gifts. It's one job that I really hate to do and I probably should just buy a bunch of gift bags and throw everything in bag instead but I had left over wrapping paper so I should use it up.

I  got the majority of it done.

If you follow me on Facebook you saw that Mr Gibbs did a little snooping in the bags before I started wrapping and found his present.

He's been having fun with it so I didn't have the heart to take it away from him and make him wait.

  1. You got a lot wrapped! I got those shiny mylar bags with ties, they don't even need tissue paper. Just pop the gift in and tie it! That is so adorable about Gibbs; it is usually cats that do that. I'm glad you let him keep it. I dislike doing all the cards more than wrapping.

  2. I sympathize! I have just a couple of things to wrap and am having trouble motivating myself to do it. I'm glad Gibbs likes his present. :D

  5. That was a lot of wrapping - nice to have it done especially if it's not your favourite activity. Too cute that Gibbs found his present - it's such a cute present I just bet he's having fun with it. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas♪♫♫♪

  6. I hate wrapping too, so I do it as I buy them. One or two gifts here and there and I'm done without too much suffering.

I love that Gibbs found his present! How smart of him! I'm glad you let him keep it.

  7. Ug! I hate wrapping gifts too. Last year I used up all of my Christmas bags that I'd been saving up so this year I have to use the wrapping paper I didn't use last year!

  9. I LOVE wrapping gifts! One holiday season I worked at the customer service desk at a mall and wrapping presents was one of my jobs - Wrapping a basketball, that was not in a box of any kind, was a real fun one (No, really it was!)

  10. That is so funny....we had a neighbor that could not put any present down because their dog would tear into it. And I still don't put presents under the tree till real close to Christmas cause Bubbie would probably see fit to attack it and wrestle with it.

  12. Ginny. I would rather use gift bags but I figured since I had the wrapping paper I would use it up.

CheerfulMonk, it has always been one of my least favorite things to do and I usually end up doing it in a rush on Christmas eve

Anni good might be a stretch but he hasn't been too naughty...lol

Lin, I keep saying I'm going to wrap them as I buy them but never do it.

Marg, I'm glad that job is out of the way.

Grace, I'll send all my wrapping to you next year....lol I would have liked to see how you wrapped the basketball

Sandee, I think next year will be gift bags but I wanted to use up the paper I had.
