Playing in the snow

I did my playing from the warmth and comfort of my computer chair. I haven't done anything like this in quite a while.

It was cold and snowy outside but I was nice and warm while I took this picture through the front window. No boots, coat, hat or gloves required.

A bit of editing, add some textured overlays and pop in a quote.

  4. I like your added quote. Personally, I'd prefer being outdoors....ummm, with NO snow.

  5. Wow, very nicely done! I'm requesting tutorials on how you fuzz out backgrounds, add layers, textures, etc. ;-) No pressure.

  7. You are brilliant!! You took an awesome photo of a beautiful scene that would be a perfect Christmas card and then turned it into a more perfect one - perhaps you should market yourself to greeting card companies. I love both the photo and the card you created.

  10. It's not a matter of liking one more than the other, they are so different in mood. I'm guessing the bokeh effect in the first one was a naturally occuring one because of snow on the window?
