No title comes to mind.

I've got nothing new today so I dug up an old picture of my snowy back yard.

  1. The blanket of snow is 'virgin' (no tracks)...it is a stunning image!!

  2. My first thought was Long Shadows, then saw Ginny had already said it...so depending on time of day either Morning Glory or Evening Glow...it sure is beautiful.

  3. Such a beautiful picture. I was thinking that I would probably have named it "Untouched Snow"

  8. I can almost hear the "quiet" in that photo. I love a fresh snow and the quiet that comes with it. I love that the neighbors are all inside and it is just peaceful. Your photos says all of that to me...and I LOVE it!

  9. Ginny, until I read your comment I hadn't really notice just how long those shadows are

Anni I've always hated it when the snow has been broken by tracks

    Carol, a fitting name

    Grace, thank you

Debbie, I agree the combination is quite striking

Lin even in the middle of summer I live in a rather quiet neighborhood. It's always been quite peaceful

  11. SNOW is beautiful when it is falling and when no one has walked through it. Beautiful.

  12. No snow here, just parched and dry grass...apparently we are coming up for some sort of record in Auckland (NZ) 40 days and still not a drop of rain!
