Crazy

One day I'm mowing lawn and looking at spring flowers and then two days later it's snowing.

Yes, you heard me right. It was snowing here again yesterday. Nothing was sticking but it's just not right to look out the window in April and see it snowing like crazy.

  1. I have never seen flowers this shape with these colors! They are blue striped! So beautiful! Some kind of lily? I hope the frost & snow doesn't kill them.

  2. It's snowing again ?! Oh gosh! The hyacinth is beautiful and I hope it will survive the snow ... It is a spring flower that is used to low temperatures!

  3. Pretty! And the hyacinth fragrance is a sure sign of Spring, too!

  4. I remember it snowing in May one year in Michigan when I was a kid. So maybe it is not totally weird. Maybe. I mean, everything else is totally weird right now, but just not that.

  6. Our neighbor races, and he said one time here it was snowing the first weekend in May...on his first race of the season. I keep hoping we are done with it for the year.

  8. The hyacinths are so beautiful! I guess the only good thing about snow in April is that it doesn't hang around for long.

  9. It's warming up here finally, but we've had rain and more rain. I'm ready for spring.

Have a fabulous day, Ann. Big hug to you and an extra treat for Gibbs. ♥♥♥

  10. It snowed here yesterday, too. This so-called Spring has been brutal so far. You'd think we could get a break for a change considering everything else we have to deal with!

  12. You are so lucky, Ann. None of my hyacinths came back (I think the rodents got them!)...:)JP

  14. Mother Nature is a mess. Cold one day here and beautiful and warm here. Raining right now, and it just started.

  15. Agree, Mother Nature is having a pretty hard time...maybe it has got a bit of this pandemic OR are "looking harder at time".
It's a bit muddled up here in New Zealand where we are moving towards winter...one day, it's dismal and woollies, the next day gorgeous and warm/sun etc.

  18. Yep, we had quite a bit of snow late last week... inches, with everything covered, including the roads. But it's gone now and that's the thing about April snow, I guess... it can never last, even if it wants to. Our little granddaughter turned 9 years old this past weekend and the night before she was born, it snowed hard too. Every year, if we get snow in April, it seems odd & out-of-place. But then I think back and realize it's quite common. It still takes me off-guard tho. Love, Andrea xoxo

  19. A year without snow is a year "without sunshine" as far as I'm concerned. NO SNOW at all in Maryland this year. I miss it.
