I had a girl order a cake for her daughters birthday. She wanted something with Dora the Explorer but I didn't have anything. I told her I couldn't copy anything because that would be a copyright infringement. I suggested doing a cake that looked like a beach with palm trees and she could add her own Dora figures.
It is really cute! That was a great suggestion.
ReplyDeleteI don't know who Dora is. lol, but love the palm tree scene.
ReplyDeleteOh, I remember Dora! You were quick thinking...that was a great idea.
ReplyDeleteYou're 'on the ball' for sure. This was a good suggestion. ^^
ReplyDeleteThat looks like it was fun to make and it would be a great base for placing Dora, whoever she is. ;-) Have a great week ~ FlowerLady
ReplyDeleteno clue who Dora is but it is a super idea and could be used for all the things like Frozen and that pirate guy. good job and it looks really beaching.
ReplyDeleteHaven't heard Dora the Explorer in a very long time. Love the cake and a great idea to have her add Dora stuff to the cake herself.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day off, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥♥♥
That was a great idea, and as you say, other people can use it too.
ReplyDeleteOh how fun, Ann, and a very good suggestion. Our local mom 'n pop grocery store does character cakes all the time. I wonder if they're breaking the law?! Probably! *haha* ~Andrea xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteI just now thought to look up Dora...she premiered in 2000! I can't believe she has been around that long. I did not hear of her till Lorelei was watching her...maybe 2013-2014...
ReplyDeleteIf you have not heard of her, have you heard of Peppa Pig or Olivia? (Olivia is another pig_) It is amazing to me how popular they were...with Lorelei. I always said I could draw them, and I cannot draw a straight line.
It's a pretty cake and great advice!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!!!!!
