Weird, I left two comments but I don't see them here. I said in my first that I was having trouble figuring out what it was a skeleton of. And then I said leave? which I meant leaf which was my second comment but neither showed up. Not sure what is going on????
It is in fact beautiful, like filigree! You find the neatest things to take photos of. I've seen leaves like this covered in silver or gold, or another metal maybe. They make lovely pins and pendants, even earrings.
I am having trouble figuring out what it is a skeleton of. A leave?

It is lacy and beautiful. It also looks like insects sucked the life juices from it. I have seen bugs doing this.
ReplyDeleteLooks like gold filigree!

ReplyDeleteI love these skeletons...and have not noticed a single one. I feel.like it is a work of art.
ReplyDeleteWOW!! I'm so surprised that leaf is still together, despite being nibbled on like that. Wonderful! Such a treasure to find. ~Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteI've never seen that happen. It's neat. 😊
