catching up

Since I took a blogger skip day yesterday, I figured I'd better catch up today. When I got home from work on Sunday I had no desire to go anywhere near the computer. So what did I do? I watched several Hallmark Christmas movies. I can't believe that's what I did considering how many years I have been yelling at Amanda for rushing Christmas.
Monday was another eye appointment. I got the all clear on my eye and everything looked good. I don't have to go back for another year.
When I got back home from my appointment I grabbed Gibbs and a chair and we went out back to sit under the tree. He did some exploring and I did some reading

  1. Great news on your eye and next visit in a year. I need to make my annual appt. to me your day was perfect, TV and reading under the shade tree. love the reflections in your Kindle. I have to confess I have watched 2 of the July Christmas. I might watch more but do not have access to the remote.

  3. Now I'm curious what book you are reading?? Glad you sat outside for a bit. I'm sure Gibbs enjoyed exploring and sniffing :) Fantastic news about your eye! That is a relief for sure! I have yet to watch a Hallmark Christmas movie (ever). Maybe this year (or maybe not lol). I did hear they had a cute corgi Christmas movie so I might have to check that one out :)

  5. I'm glad your eye is back to normal. Nothing worse than having eye issues.

Looks like a great idea going outside with Gibbs to read. Most relaxing.

Have a fabulous day and week, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

  6. Great news on your eye, Ann!! I got such a peaceful feeling reading about your chair, your Gibbs, and your book...under a tree. Now all you needed was a package of shoestring licorice! *haha* That's what I used to eat when I was a young girl, sitting under a tree reading a book.... the long skinny shoestring licorice....the red kind, of course. Do they even make that anymore? ~Andrea xoxo

  13. If you have the same heat and humidity that we have here, Christmas movies may help us keep cool. Even if it is just psychological. :) Hooray for your good eye report and chilling in the yard reading!
