If it isn't one thing it's another.

It seems there is just no end to reasons why I can't get a good nights sleep. If it isn't a certain dog we all know needing to go out to attend to business

then it might be me needing to attend to business

Or it's a thunder storm that has the volume turned to extra loud

Sunday morning around 12:30 or so it started with the thunder, then the lightning and then came the rain.

When I first go to bed, I can fall asleep very easy. I'm out in less than 20 minutes. But, if I wake up, and I always do, I have the hardest time falling back asleep. Sometimes I never do. I end up dragging through work and then hitting the couch when I get home for a little nap.

  1. I'm so sorry about that! I know how miserable it can be to have to stagger through the next day.

  2. Me too, I am the same! And it is always something for me! Thunder, phone ringing, pain, snoring, outside early workers, you name it.

  4. Yep, this is soooo true, every word. I do the same, anytime after midnight if I wake up, most of the time that is it, and any time like 2 am that is IT.. agree with Annie, now I have my fingers crossed that something GOOD WILL HAPPEN TO YOU TODAY

  5. Almost everyone I know has problems with sleep one way or another! We sell a CBD sleep product at the store I work at and it's our #1 seller. You are definitely not alone!

  6. I think the older we get the harder it is to sleep straight through the night and the harder it is to go back to sleep once we are awakened in the night. It is frustrating though! Thankfully, you can nap but then you don't want to nap your life away. I truly do understand and like I said, it is so frustrating!

  7. Age adds to the nights of not being able to sleep. Sometimes sitting in front of the tv an hour before bedtime does it also. Course for me, that helps me to relax. I have been having issue going to bed early. I was on a 9pm routine then all of a sudden I am making that 12 to 1am. Nuts....Pain does a lot of my sleepless nights though. Other nights I sleep sound....really sound, or at least I think I do, but I do a lot of tossing and turning due to pain. I never actually wake enough to be awake (if that makes since), but enough to mess with the sleep.

  8. I'm sorry you're having issues sleeping all night. I hate that and sometime when I was working I couldn't turn off my mind.

Have a fabulous day and week, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥

  9. I hate nights like that...I seldom have them now. But do every now and then with a night here and there that I dont sleep at all.

  10. I have finally decided that it's not worth tossing and turning and get up for a cuppa and a couple of biscuits, nearly always find that is enough for me to return to bed and sleep.

  11. I never seem to get a good night’s sleep and wake up very easily. My sympathies, you would deserve that nap when you get home from work.
