Welcome to June. This year sure is flying by.
I don't always like everything I set out to draw. Generally I only show the ones that I think are ok. Today I thought I would show you one that I thought totally sucked.
Do I let the bad ones stop me? No I do not. I get my markers out again and try something else.
How about a queen bee
Good month!
ReplyDeleteI really liked the little houses at the end.
I think it is the time and mood we spend to make something beautiful.
When I write almost out of necessity (without a good mood) I almost always don't like the result... but many times it's beautiful but we don't see it! Maybe they need other people to appreciate the work!
I think your drawings would make a wonderful addition to a children's book or fairy tale!!
I actually like the first one. It is not perfect, but still better than I could do. And I like the girl on the hill looking at the stars. There is something so whimsical, yet touching about it.
ReplyDeleteI like that first one too. I don't care about the end result as much as your sharing. In fact, if they're not perfect I'm inspired to try it myself. ❤️
ReplyDeleteWhat do you dislike about the first? I see nothing wrong with it. Love the queen bee, and would love to do a quilt of little houses.
ReplyDeleteI Love the first one, Ann! Looks like she's praying...so sweet!
ReplyDeleteThe others are just wonderful...you DO have talent sweet lady!

They are all great to me and you know how much I want to be able to do this out of my head. I think my favorite is the queen bee but I like all of them. Keep them coming you inspire me
ReplyDelete... I love the houses.
ReplyDeleteI hope you continue to have fun.

All of your doodles are so cute. I love the houses and the queen bee. So much color. Enjoy your Saturday!!
ReplyDeleteI like them. I don't believe you can do bad ones. You're very talented.
ReplyDeleteThere are bad ones here???? I love them all!
ReplyDeleteI really like the idea of the first one though. And love the little houses.
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE the houses. They might be my all time favorites. They are lovely.
ReplyDeleteI like that first painting, that is my favorite of the three.
ReplyDeleteMy very best still would not be as good as your "bad" ones!
ReplyDeleteNow Ann I like them all...the bee for sure had me smiling. Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteAnn, I hope you are complying your drawings into some sort of notebook to pass on to your grandchildren or simply have them all in one spot. Keep expressing yourself, it's a great feeling♥
