Week 9 drawings

Can you believe that I have been keeping this up for 9 whole weeks already? I don't know how long I'll continue but I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

I seem to be incorporating the fancy lettering practice into some of my drawings lately. I'm really enjoying doing both.

  1. The first two were my favorites, till I saw the zebra. And then the houses with a mushroom house!!! That is my favorite! I just finished decorating a shelf with mushrooms today, and made a fall fairy house, they would both be a combination of this drawing. The shading on the green roof is really good as well. that is the sign of a good artist I think. I could never do shading or shadows.

  2. Big Blue Bird, for me! lol He's too cute!
They are ALL wonderful! Maybe send a few to Hallmark! They are always looking for new ideas for cards...

  3. my favorite is the first crazy bird and the zebra and I will never even try to copy the words you do. I did try and I just can't write the letters anywhere near like you do... I might try the bird and zebra, will wait and see if inspiration hits me. I agree with Ginny, you rock at shading and shadows, yet another thing I struggle with

  4. Your quirky animals are the BEST! Along with your mushroom house(s) and I'm rather liking that tree...But the quirky animals - all of them including the ones you've done before - they're GOLD.

  8. You remind me of Karen, a gal I know from western Colorado. She is an artist and she makes social media a happy place for a few minutes daily as she posts her beautiful art. I love seeing everyone who has such wonderful talente. Thank you.

  11. I didn't see my comment go through on your year 2 post. So I'm not sure if this one will go through. Your happy mail card was cute. I like your drawings. "I can and I will" is my favorite.
