It's been a while since I've shown any cakes so today I'll give you all the ones I've done recently. Here they are in no particular order.
This one was seriously plain but that's all they wanted on it.
This one was the last one I did. The order that was taken said that the writing was supposed to read "Happy 70th with a heart". I wish people taking the orders would understand that if that's how they write it then that's how I'm going to put it on a cake. They need to be either more specific or draw me a picture of how the writing should be. Thankfully this person had called in to check on what she had asked for on the cake and the person she talked to clarified this for me.
The colors on that first one really pop. And your talent is apparent on all of them. ❤️
ReplyDeleteditto on Rose comment, you are gifted with your writing skills and your drawing of letters skills with pen. I saw some awesome YouTube on how to make different letters in procreate. that would drive me nuts and I would not have done the cake the way you did by the instructions written for you.. they need to describe or draw for sure

If I had more patience I think cake decorating would be fun to do.

Sorry for being late we participated in an event at the Art Museum sponsored by the NC Retired Government Employees Association and there was a free boxed lunch...that was yummy. Ann what fun you must have decorating cakes...I really like the first one

I think my favorite is the all pink one. I can see that you did achieve more than one shade of pink, too. This would be do cute for a little girl.
