For fun, I decided I would recreate some of my past drawings in Procreate. Here are the original drawings in my sketch book followed by the recreation in Procreate.
I thought I was done with copy cat, but that rose with the stripes is calling out to me and I love both the drawn on paper as opposed to drawn on iPad on that one, the rest I like the iPad best. the good thing is you are equally talented on paper and iPad. I still can't draw on paper. only on iPad and mine look more like a child, yours do not... I need a new printer to see if I can print the iPad drawings. my printer prints forms but not photos, cuts them in half... well done my artistic friend
Wow! The digitals are very much bolder and brighter, but I still prefer the hand-drawn ones. The human touch is just so much more evident with pen or brush to paper rather than stylus to screen. Not that they aren't both drawn by hand actually. This was fun to see the comparisons. Each has its place, but they are very different. I learned something today. Thanks! :)
Hand drawn is definitely better - definitely. The digital ones are flat, no warmth, little depth and they look digital. There's a place for everything - and a use for everything -
Oh my goodness, you are so talented!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI think your hand drawn are SO much prettier!! Procreate looks like a very bad artist compared to yours.

ReplyDeleteI like both versions of each picture, but the hand-drawn ones have more soul.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're keeping yourself busy doing something you enjoy. (and you're so good at it) Have a great day my friend.
ReplyDeleteI think I love Yours' better than PC!

ReplyDeleteThis is a very neat program...While I do like the ones from the procreate, I would choose the ones you originally drew.
ReplyDeleteLove this idea!
ReplyDeleteThat would be really cute to do kids drawings like that. Awesome drawing, are you still working on doing one a day?
ReplyDeleteI am very fond of each drawing. Several of your hand drawn are softer and more eye appealing, the cat and the flowers especially

ReplyDeleteI have to admit I like your hand drawn pictures better, as Jabblog said..they have more soul.
ReplyDeleteHope you will have a good day.

bonsoir avec la pluie et le vent bonne nuit a demain vendredi bisous
ReplyDeleteAll the photos are pretty - but I have to say the ones you drew were better in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteThose are pretty interesting. Glad you are having fun doing these.
ReplyDeleteBoy, I love both versions...At first I thought the original of Enjoy The Little Things was my favorite of the two, but looking again, I am not sure.
