Can't remember when this was, maybe a week or so ago. I happened to look out the window and saw a large number of birds flying up from the street into the tree in my front yard. They were followed by two more large groups of birds. The tree was filled with birds
I think some of them had already flown off when I got the pictures.
Guess there was a birdie convention in town. I posted that on Facebook and someone who lives down the street from me had said that they were gathered at her house a few days before.
That's interesting! I wonder why?
ReplyDeleteThey are like dark leaves! Did they make any noise? Yes, the gloves are fingerless, you are very observant!
ReplyDeletethat is what our black birds do, we see them every day. they are LOUD.. wondering if these were crows.. a flock of something for sure.....
ReplyDeleteMakes you wonder what really is going on. Are they chatting with each other in Bird language or are they just having choir practice. It is a beautiful sight when you see this.
ReplyDeleteWell I guess birds of a feather do flock together.
ReplyDeleteGreat capture
Hugs cecilia
We had that a couple of years ago here. Our entire backyard, which is rather large, was covered with them. It was a bit spooky.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of birds. Reminded me of the movie The Birds. Scary.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week, Ann. Big hug to you and lots of scritches to Gibbs. ♥
What are they doing up there in the cold? Send them down here. lol
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting. I wonder how they communicate with each other for their not plans.
ReplyDeleteI've seen that here to recently - the birds here were crows.
ReplyDeleteI would not want to.walk under them...
ReplyDeleteStarlings or grackles. This is their season for hanging out. Watch for mumurations in open fields. It's when they swarm.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that something? Great catch!
ReplyDeleteNice shots of the birds. We had that happen here the other day too. So many birds!
