Catching up

I schedule all my posts in advance so sometimes I get a little behind with posting things. Today I'm going back to February 14th.

As you know Presley was supposed to come over while her parents went out to dinner. I had the coffee table all set up for our little galentine celebration. I had Valentine plates for the pizza we were going to have.

There was a basket full of goodies that I bought for her.

And there was a little mailbox with a card just for her
It was disappointing but understandable that she couldn't come. There will be other times.

That day I also made myself another shirt. This one is so true. And the older I get the more I realize how much I wasn't made for winter.

  4. It all looks so cute. She would have loved it. So sorry it didn't work out but I think you should do it all over when you do get to have her stay with you.

  6. Ann you are the best Grandma...I love how you planned. I hope you did send Presley a photo of what you were going to share.
After the very cold (for NC) January and February..I'm not made for winter either. I just hope I remember this in hot, humid, miserable days of July and August. We don't shovel snow but I declare some days when the humidity is so high it feels like we could shovel it

  9. Ugh. I'm sorry about your Valentine dinner. I had the SAME thing happen to me. Seems nobody could commit to a date and I had to scrap the whole thing. I know..I know...everyone is busy and things happen, but I'm sure you were sad and disappointed. I know I was. Next year, I'm inviting YOU over! :)
