Every year I have to take pictures of the day lilies that bloom on the side of my house. And so here they are.
These grow right in front of my gas meter so I'll likely be getting a letter from them saying that they are unable to read the meter. If the person coming around to do it would just push the leaves to the side they can easily see it but that must be too much effort.
They're pretty. Taking pictures every year is a great tradition. :)

ReplyDeleteYour lilies are beautiful, Ann. Yeah, must be too much effort to part the leaves a little bit to read the meter. *sigh* We don't even have meter readers anymore. It's all electronic now. A person drives by in a car & supposedly the meter reading comes up on a device in his/her car. I don't know how that all works but what I **DO** know is...our utility bill is waaaaay too high!! ReplyDeleteAnn they are gorgeous!!!. The meter guy, thinks he should not have to work, he is a lot like folks we see littering...it is too much trouble to walk 2' to the trash can.

ReplyDeleteMy dad always had lilies along one side of the house when I was growing up. He called them tiger lilies and they were orange with dark spots on them. I had forgotten. Thanks! They are so pretty. :)
