Lunch time

 I take my lunch to work every day. It's usually something healthy since I'm trying to do better. Thursday 8/7 I was starving and knew that what I had brought just wasn't going to cut it. There are lots of options in the area and although it wasn't healthy, I went to Burger King.

I took my kindle and sat and read while I chowed down on my fish sandwich and fries.


I can tell you that I will not be doing this often. It was $10 for this. I hate how expensive everything has gotten.

    I had no idea that Burger King has fish sandwiches! How are they compared to McDonald's?

    Fast food has always been expensive, to my mind. Once in a while, it's a treat and a change.

    I forgot my lunch one day last week too, so I went to Culvers for a burger and fries. It cost about the same.

    WOW 10 bucks...but at least the 'fish' was kinda healthy.
    I never buy beverages when I eat out just drink water that saves $2 or 2.50.

    That is pretty expensive! Maybe you could find a Copycat recipe?

    I think that is the going price for lunch these days. Maybe you can treat yourself on Fridays.

    Whether $10 is a lot depends on how much the wages are. In Greece, electricity remains very expensive, even though so many hydroelectric plants have been built, solar panels and wind turbines have been installed, I don't know what's going on and electricity is still expensive! Also, products in supermarkets are becoming more and more expensive.

    We enjoy a fast food lunch once in a while. It sure has gotten expensive!!!
