I finished making that hat with the homespun yarn and still had more left. I decided to try a headband ear warmer that I found a pattern for. I'm more apt to wear an ear warmer than I am a hat.
These use a knit pearl repeat patter where as the hat uses just an e wrap knit stitch.
Since this picture was taken I've made another of the headbands. I still have more of the homespun yarn left and may try to get one more out of it.
I love the soft pretty color, and the knitting looks perfect.
ReplyDeleteLove the color and they make a great set, if I lived in Cold Country I would want the set...
ReplyDeleteOh how Pretty Ann!! Knitting would drive me up the wall then I'd probably stab myself with a needle! lol

This is such a good color...Perfect for a cool winter morning.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the headband. It looks so soft and warm.
ReplyDeleteI love the headband and the color too!
ReplyDeleteLove the headbands. How many stitches do you start with?
ReplyDeleteI love the headband idea. Last year I made a few hats and one was a Santa hat. So fun. This year, I've not yarned because I hurt my thumb last year with yarn and that thumb never quite recovered.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a fun rest of the weekend!
Beautiful, Ann.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely set, Ann! Knitting takes me ages ;-)
ReplyDeleteI prefer headbands to hats too. Hats make my head itch for some reason!
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
