Last Friday morning I went out with Gibbs and noticed how pretty the sky looked. I tried to capture it but of course the picture doesn't do it justice.
Then of course Gibbs wanted out again after it got light. I had to go out with him again because by that time the guys were out there working and he barks non stop at them. I try and control the barking but he's like a disobedient teen who doesn't listen at all.
The guys are still working on that drainage system. I'm glad to see they are making efforts to control any possible flooding
Their drain work could be a really good thing. The sky in your first photo is a really pretty shade of blue.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the pictures. Cameras never get the color and atmosphere right, but they still mean a lot.
ReplyDeleteyes, to the drain work, a necessary things for sure and did you use NIGHT mode on you phone, its under MORE.. of course holding the cell steady for countdown of 5 might be hard, it is for me....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky! Ours is mostly cloudy. That is good, that they are working on the drainage.
ReplyDeleteThe sky is beautiful. I always notice how gorgeous the sky is in the Fall and Winter. Happy Friday!!
ReplyDeleteGlad they're working on not having flooding.
ReplyDeleteAnn your picture of the sky is lovely. I know what you mean about the camera not capturing the color as we see it. Still though very lovely. Glad to see that they are working on the drainage system. Bet you will be glad when they are finished. Have a lovely weekend. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteGlad they are taking care of any drainage issues to prevent any problems later on.
ReplyDeleteAnn it is a lovely capture of of the purple hues...
ReplyDeleteseems the construction dudes are taking care for the future
Hugs Cecilia
Cameras never seem to capture the sky as you see it in real life, but it still looked pretty.
ReplyDeleteHappy to see the work being done too.
ReplyDeleteGibbs is so good about giving those workers their "marching orders and directions" HaHa

Hopefully they will be done soon. Gibbs can't help himself. Our daughter's dog barks all the time. Yes, you definitely wouldn't want any flooding your way.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous sky photos! Gibbs just want to say “Thank you” the guys fixing drain! 😉
ReplyDeleteI was worried about drainage issues - glad to know they thought of that too and that they are taking care of it.
ReplyDeleteHere's how I got my dog to stop barking. Fill a can with pebbles. When he barks, shake the can and say NO. He won't like the noise.
ReplyDeleteIt worked with my dog and soon I just had to say, I'm going to get the can and she would stop!
