Memorial Day always lands with a quieter weight than most holidays. It’s a day built on reflection more than celebration — a pause to acknowledge the men and women who never made it home, and the families whose lives were permanently reshaped by that sacrifice. However you spend the day — working, resting, grilling, or just trying to catch up on life — I hope there’s a moment of stillness in it, a moment to honor the people who gave up their ordinary days so we could have ours.
A lovely Memorial Day post!
ReplyDeleteIt is a day to remember and pray for all our veterans and what they did and still do for us.
