You saw a couple in an intimate pose, right?
Interestingly, research has shown that young children cannot identify the intimate couple because they do not have prior memory associated with such a scenario. What they will see, however, is the nine dolphins in the picture. So, I guess we've already proven you're not a young innocent child. Now, if it's hard for you to find the dolphins within 6 seconds, your mind is so corrupted that you probably need help.
OK, here's help: look at the space between her right arm and her head, the tail is on her neck, follow it up. Look at her left hip, follow the shaded part down, it's another one, and on his shoulder? Oh, sure, some of you see them now. Perverts....lol

Amazing! I immediately saw the man and woman. The troubling thing is.....so did my 8 year old son. I had to work really hard to point out the dolphins to him....THAT DAMN CABLE TV!!!

ReplyDeleteThis same principle works for very young kids and stage magicians. They are not fooled as easily as adults because they don't have any expectations.
Eventually I saw the dolphins but my eyes kept reverting back to the couple. Guess I'm just a little perverted!
ReplyDeleteNo, I am not so much a dirty old man as in need of some of that Ritalin (or whatever it is) that those kids are on! Of course, there is no guarantee that I would be seeing dolphins afterward. Frankly, I don't really care--just as long as there are lots of pretty colors.

I have lousy figure-ground perception - it took me a few seconds to see intimate pose. I would have never seen the dolphins unless you told me where to look. I tried looking for them when you said they were there but without the clues - I never would have.
ReplyDeleteOf course I saw the couple immediately. I assumed there was a different picture within and tried squinching my eyes (that's a technical term) while looking...no help! I had to read the clues before I could see the light. Really a good puzzle!

ReplyDeleteOnce you said there were dolphins I was able to find them. I wanted to try this with my daughter but I was worried she would see the couple. If she does, I probably don't want to know.
